画的是阿瑞斯大腿被重伤后被福波斯和得墨斯带离战场，回过头来看赫拉克勒斯（回头看这部分属于个人脑补），但想像的阿瑞斯情绪应该还是是前文中描述的这段：

…So said she (Athena), but did not move the courageous spirit of Ares. But he uttered a great shout and waving his spears like fire, he rushed headlong at strong Heracles, longing to kill him, and hurled a brazen spear upon the great shield, for he was furiously angry because of his dead son, …”
